It seems a catch-22 that those who need health insurance the most are in fact the least likely to receive coverage, but getting insured as someone with a pre-existing condition is just that. Fortunately, with the right knowledge and know-how headed into the process, it can actually be done. Just don’t lose heart and keep on trying. Considering the fact that Cobra rates are high to maintain, making this need even more important.
Anything can trigger the need for insurance coverage for a pre-existing condition. You might get laid off and have a health issue that is not resolved. You could have coverage that is lacking some aspect that is not included in your current policy. Whatever the condition, gaps can happen.
Federal laws state that something called “takeover coverage” will cover these gaps. This is only applicable to those people that are in states that require high-risk enrollment available.
What is Takeover Coverage?
Takeover Coverage is a policy that specifically covers pre-existing conditions. It is added to the policy when the insurance company will not cover anything that is labeled a “pre-existing condition.” It is perfect for two reasons. First, it allows any person to get the coverage that they need. It also saves money because it only requires the cost that specifically covers the gap in your coverage.
What is a “Pre-Existing Condition?”
Any pre-existing condition is one that was known prior to the time of coverage. These diseases are specific to each state. The best way to see which diseases are covered is to check the government site [pcip.gov/StatePlans.html]. This is updated according to the laws as they change each term. Some states are governed by the state rather than the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Eligibility for Coverage
There are variables that must be met in order to gain this coverage beyond state coverage. Once the person has checked their local state, they must also meet these six points.
1. The person must not be eligible for employer sponsored health coverage.
2. The person must not be eligible for Cobra coverage.
3. The person must have a referral from a doctor that the condition exists.
4. The person must not be eligible for welfare benefits.
5. The person must be a US citizen.
6. The person must have six months in the state in which they apply for the coverage.
If the person applies with the above variables met, they can apply and be covered to receive the Take Over Coverage. It allows those that need extra coverage for those health issues that are pre-existing conditions. It is also a wise idea to work with a professional in order to get the best terms for your coverage.

Ten or twenty years ago mobile phones were not an issue for parents who had children because, they were considered to be a luxury that only wealthy people could afford to own. If a parent wanted to know where their child was, they would either call their school or any of the parents of the friends that their child might hang out with on a daily basis.
Times were simpler back then but when you fast forward to the 21st century, the world seems bigger and more interactive now. Unlike in years past, there are a wide variety of new, potential dangers for children and it’s more important than ever for every parent to give their child a mobile phone.
One of the benefits of mobile phones in this day and age is that parents can have GPS enabled on the phones that they give their children so they can know where their children are when they are away from home.
In today’s busy world, it’s not always easy for parents to get plenty of time with their children as many more parents are working multiple jobs compared to years ago. Thanks to video chat services like Skype, any parent can see their child, as they chat with them during the day, instead of waiting until they get home late at night to talk with them.
Another huge benefit of mobile phones in today’s world is that a parent will always have confidence that their child is protected in case of emergency. For example: instead of having to walk to the nearest gas station to use the phone, after their car breaks down or runs out of gas, they will always have a phone with them to call for help, no matter where they are.
Last of all, one of the main benefits of giving a child a mobile phone is that they have access to a wide variety of learning tools thanks to the multitude of apps that are available today.

A bra is designed to keep a woman’s breasts firmly supported during her day and also to prevent them from sagging as she grows older. Besides the obvious benefits that barely there bras offer, the average bra is also designed for preventing strain on a woman’s back or neck and giving her breasts a little extra “boost” to give her a more youthful appearance.
Not all bras are created equal. Some women end their day in a lot of pain because they purchased the wrong type of bra that wasn’t structured properly for their bodies. The following tips will help you to choose the right bra type and bra structure that will be perfect for your body.
Breast Size – Before choosing just any type of bra at your local department store, make sure that you take the time to measure your bust size yourself or get your breasts measured by a woman who works in a lingerie store. You should choose a bra that gives your breasts the right amount of support and maybe that little extra lift that you have been wanting for a long time.
Straps – What will you be wearing the bra for? Will you be wearing it for work, formal occasions, exercising, daily physical activity or a fun night out with friends? Make sure that you choose the right bra for the right occasion because; each bra has different straps that will give you the support that you need during your day without ruining your outfit.
Physical Activity – If you’re physically active in your job or you exercise frequently, you should choose a sports bra because, a sports bra will give you the support that you need on the go and give you something less to worry about during your day.
Formal Occasions – You just got home from work and your significant other is taking you out to dinner. What bra should you wear? You should have a magic bra for strapless dresses, a seamless bra for skin tight tops and a u-plunge bra for those outfits that you own that have plunging necklines.
Are you new to skincare? Or have you simply decided that it is time to do something with your skin to boost your appearance? You are not alone. Skincare can be intimidating. However, it is not as complicated as it may seem. And, at the end of the day, it promotes a better you! Start today and establish a skincare routine that works for you.
In order to establish a skincare routine, you must first understand the basics of skincare. This means, you need to know a few things to help you make the most of what you will be doing. First, determine what your skin type is. Are you prone to oil, overly dry, normal, or a combination of these? It is good to know the type of skin you have so you can choose products that work for you. Next, understand the basic steps of skincare. First, you will cleanse the skin. Then you will treat the skin. Finally, you will moisturize.
One of the most common hurdles to skincare for many people is selecting the right products. With all of the options, it can be overwhelming. However, it does not have to be. Instead, know your skin type and what you are looking for. Your skin type will be a guide to the types of products you choose. Most skincare products guide you in this direction. For example, they will mention oil free (a great product for oily prone, or combination skin types). Also, anything with extra moisturize is great for someone who is dry. Also, make sure you select a product to cleanse your skin, one that will treat (anti-aging), and a moisturizer.
With the right products, you can now go through the skincare routine morning and night for better looking skin. For best results, you may also use an Anti aging cream.
It seems like commercial holidays come at us faster and faster these days. School has only just started and we’re already seeing signs of Halloween in the stores. Though it might seem precipitate, these displays are actually a good reminder to get going and plan your family costumes before it’s too late. Choosing the perfect Halloween costume can be difficult and even overwhelming with all the choices out there—so it’s best to get started well before the day in question. Don’t know how to pick a costume for your son? Here are a few handy tips to get you started.
Whenever you’re choosing a Halloween costume for a child—and this is especially true for boys—your fist consideration should be practicality. You’ll want to consider what kind of wear and tear the costume will get and narrow your choices accordingly. A delicate costume with lots of expensive and fiddly gadgets probably won’t hold up well at a rough and tumble party and a thin one won’t be a great choice for a cold wet night of trick or treating. As a basic guideline, you’ll want to choose something that is comfortable and non restrictive.
With the basics taken care of, your next concern should be with your child’s preferences. Ask your son what he wants to be and chances are that his answer will change six or seven times before the big day. In order to keep your sanity intact and please your child, try and narrow the field of options early on. There are tons of great boys Halloween costumes out there so pick two or three that you think will appeal to both you and your child and then turn the options over to him. That way you both get a say in the decision. Finally, make it clear that once made, the costume decision is final. Come Halloween, you’ll both be happy and comfortable.

New parents often find themselves in a quandary when trying to choose the best baby clothes. Climate often dictates the breadth of their choices and also divides up fashion by season, meaning that in some parts of the country, every baby will need basically three wardrobes per year – hot weather, cold weather and warm weather (this actually gets worse when they get into school, as the new clothes they got in the fall may not fit anymore by the following spring).
For infants and toddlers, though, the options are pretty clear. Whatever designer duds you might receive as presents, when budgeting for baby clothes, there are essentially only a few things you’ll actually need on a daily basis (and you’ll need them in numbers, since babies have a way of making instant messes throughout the day and night). Foremost, body suits are a must, especially since neutral colors allow you to use them on a baby boy or a baby girl. Magnificent Baby has suits featuring magnetic snap-connectors for ease of late night, bleary-eyed use.
Booties, socks and shoes should be comfortable yet durable and protective. Outerwear, which could be a coat or a pair of coveralls (Oshkosh still makes the best ones), are essential, as is a hat since most body warmth escapes through the top of the head. Pajamas should also be on hand at all times. On those hot days, or in those instances when everything just happens to be in the wash, the old diaper and tee-shirt combination is still appropriate. You can never have too many of any of these items.
As they get older and become more active, your toddlers can be outfitted in excellent fashion to go along with the protection and durability you’ll want. L.L. Bean’s ‘Double L’ blue jeans come lined with fleece for extra warmth and cushioning, and Baby Gap’s pull-on jeans are perfect for young children still working their way through the potty-training days.
There are a number of reasons why you might consider wearing a sports bra when exercising—or during your daily life. To begin with, a sports bra is truly designed for function. In this case, the function is to provide comfortable, no bounce support to a woman in motion. Though a sports bra may be attractive and fashionable, these concerns will take a back seat to the design functionality—unlike other bra styles.
The reason that this distinction is important is one of the other reasons that women wear sports bras. Exercising without the proper undergarments and support can result in:
More than fifty six percent of women who exercise experience one or all of these symptoms when they exercise. The cause? Large displacement of poorly supported breast tissue. Unrestricted movement in this area can be an embarrassing as well as painful distraction from the movement you are actually focused on achieving. Wearing the wrong bra can be worse than wearing no bra at all. Still a properly designed and fitted sports bra can remove these concerns from the equation by cutting down on vertical movement by as much as fifty percent.
Experts say that you should think of the sports bra like any other piece of serious athletic equipment—your running shoes, for example. Taking the time to determine your needs and researching the product that will meet them saves you pain and possible injury. In addition, knowing that you have the right equipment and feeling good when you exercise are great motivators when it comes to staying on target and meeting your goals. If all that doesn’t convince you though, you should still make an effort to examine your options. The sports ahh bra has come a long way in recent years, you may just find you’re won over despite yourself.
One of the fastest growing industries in the United States is the payday loan industry. Thanks to the economic recession and tighter lending rules, payday loan companies have carved out a niche and are able to lend money to people when they need quick cash.
As the payday loan industry continues to grow just about every state in the nation has their own lending regulations to insure that the citizens of their states don’t lose a lot of money on payday loans.
Many states have set a maximum amount between $250.00 and $1,000 that they allow their citizens to borrow from a payday loan company plus extensive finance charge regulations are being adopted state wide.
For example: states like Illinois and Kentucky have set rules that payday loan companies can’t charge a finance charge of more than $15.00 per $100.00 that a customer may advance.
One regulation that has been put into place over the last few years is that it is now illegal for any cash loan company to lend money to anyone who is currently serving in the U.S. military because people serving in the military have been hit the hardest by unscrupulous payday lenders in recent years.
The important thing for anyone to remember before taking out a payday loan is that a payday loan should always be a temporary solution to any problem.
If you’re unable to pay off a payday loan within two weeks to one month it’s best to pay the loan off within two to three months because you never want to continue re-advancing a payday loan for long periods of time.
It’s very easy for anyone to lose hundreds of dollars per year re-advancing the same payday loan or taking out multiple payday loans at the same time. To avoid these problems it’s always best to practice sound financial management and if you do have to take out a payday loan make sure that you pay it off as quickly as possible.
Everybody has cell phones these days; kids, teenagers, college students, parents, and single adults. It’s important for your child to have a cell phone for lots of reasons. But it is equally if not more important for grandma and grandpa to have a cell phone that is always within reach. The why part of that is easy to figure out… 911! Here are some features that seniors with cell phones should not be without.
Failing eyesight is something that seldom waits until old age. I don’t consider myself a senior yet and I’ve had to wear glasses for years. So large, readable, raised keys are essential on these phones. I just make them easy to read and easy to push. When you’re checking these phones, look closely at the phone for yourself and determine whether or not you feel the need to squint in order to read it. If you don’t wear glasses and you have to squint chances are a senior is going to have even more difficulty reading the numbers and letters on the phone’s keypad and display.
In addition to eyesight, hearing is sometimes yet another victim of old age. Whether they like to admit it or not, seniors frequently have trouble hearing. Cell phones tend to cause interference with hearing aids and volume controls, aside from being hard to manage, don’t always fill the bill. Headsets or speakerphones are your best bet for seniors and cell phones. Speed dialing is a real time saver but many seniors will have difficulty remembering which number speed dials whom. A list might be a good idea. And the easier the phone is to use, the better.
Pricing of course, is a major concern for seniors on a fixed budget. Be sure that there are no hidden fees or costs on such things as broadband. And make battery life and recharging ease a major consideration as well.
